MPS Construction & Design was engaged by The Women’s Pavilion to renovate the largest existing Labor and Delivery in South Texas. This multi phase project involved the transformation of 40 patient rooms. MPS worked with the hospital to keep the Labor and Delivery department open by renovating 10 rooms at a time. During the renovation, more than 13,000 babies were born. The total project included a medical gasses upgrade, fire alarm and suppression installation, total finishes and nursing stations.
